Note: this is separate sanction from the State tournament, so if you intend to ski in this tournament you will have to&nbsp;<a href="http://www.usawaterski.org/rankings/View-TournamentsHQ.asp?pvar=TourInfo&amp;TourID=19M059&amp;olrds=enabled&amp;rg=1&amp;sl=on&amp;tr=on&amp;ju=on&amp;wb=&amp;ws=&amp;wu=&amp;bf=&amp;kb=&amp;hy=&amp;sExclude=" target="_blank">sign up separately</a>.</li><li>The Troeger /Van Treese families will be providing lunch to skiers on Friday.</li><li>The State OWSA annual meeting will be held at Dammeyer&rsquo;s Boat house at 8 pm or at the end of the BBT finals. Pizza will be served for those in attendance of the meeting. The selection of the site for the 2020 State Tournament and election of officers for 2019-2020 will be determined during this meeting.</li></ul><br />WEEKEND NOTES<ul><li>RV&rsquo;s are welcome, but to keep our yards from getting torn up we would like to ask RV&rsquo;s to park in the stone parking lot next to the big grey barn on the South end of the lake.</li><li>All other vehicles can park along the lane on the west side of the lake.</li><li>The State Tournament will start at 8 am on Saturday, July 20th</li><li>For the slalom and jump events we have elected to have each competitor ski behind the same boat that they drew for Regionals and Nationals. Random draw of the boats resulted in skiers behind the Malibu going first, Nautique 2nd, and Mastercraft 3rd . The age Divisions in each group was then randomly drawn and then the running order would be from lowest to highest seed<ul><li>Malibu: W1, W4, M1, M3, M6, G1, G2, OW</li><li>Nautique: W2, W6, B1, B3, M5, M7, MM, OM, M8</li><li>Mastercraft: G3, B2, W3, MW, W7-W11, M2, M9-M11, W5, M4</li></ul></li><li>The Slalom event for all age groups will be first, followed by the Junior Trick and Junior Jump events. The order of events for Sunday will be Adult Trick and then Adult Jump.</li><li>Food will be available for purchase between 11 and 1 on both Saturday and Sunday.</li><li>The State Banquet will be held at the Varsity Lanes Bowling alley lounge located at 91 Herzing Street in St. Marys (just off of St. Rte 66). You can start arriving at 6 pm, but the meal is scheduled to be served at 7 pm. Presentation of the awards will follow the meal. Adult beverages will be available for purchase in the lounge. The weather provided many unwanted challenges, and many skiers fell on their opening or second pass Friday due to wind, though others were able to fight through the rain and wind difficulties to salvage great scores. Slalom rounds were L sanctioned (US Record Capable) for those who chose that class. It was interesting to see the extra cameras in use.</span></span><br /><br /><span><span>Carson Warren improved from 3.5 total buoys in round one, to 20 buoys in round two. That significant increase in average lead to him winning the day. Jackson Lanich finished top two, after scoring 2 at 28 off. Casey Warren impressively skied 4 at 34 mph 15 off, which earned her third place. Greg Kuenning clinched fourth by twice skiing into 35 off. David Miller ran into 38 off en route to fifth. &nbsp;</span></span><br /><br /><span><span>Despite sometimes challenging&nbsp;weather, many skiers got into 38 off, including Kyle Dammeyer, John Gorski, Ted Mccolley, and Richard Lambert.</span></span><br /><br /><span>On Saturday evening at the State Championship banquet, Greg Kuenning announced the 2018 Buckeye Buoy Tour season champions. Congrats to Jackson Lanich, who won a new D3 slalom ski for finishing first in the slalom standings. The weather was kind to the skiers on Saturday, and the rain perfectly evaded our area, and all of slalom was completed on time after all three events of juniors were powered through in the morning. The temperature Sunday warmed up for adult trick and jump, and we had the most sunshine of the three days. The rope swing was popular with the kids all weekend, despite the clouds and wind.</span><br /><br /><span style="color:rgb(129, 129, 129)">Kyle Dammeyer. Jason Wroblewski, John Gorski, David Miller and Ted Mccolley all got into 38 off.</span><br /><br /><span style="color:rgb(129, 129, 129)">Overall champions include: Sam Kuenning, Jack Kuenning, Chris Caldwell, Josie Kuenning, Annemarie Wroblewski, Robbie Daulton, Andrew French, Greg Kuenning, Michael Lankey, John Brannan, Claire Hansel, and Keri McClure.&nbsp;</span><br /><br /><span style="color:rgb(129, 129, 129)">One of the jump highlights Sunday was&nbsp;<a href="https://youtu.be/gBj9NMf7MxM" target="_blank">John Brannon's first time over the ramp</a>, and he successfully skied away his second attempt, going 30 feet.
