Who: Current and former members of the Ohio State Waterski Team, as well as family and friends of the team When: September 3rd - 4th, 2016 Where: Shortline Shores - 2645 Dowty Rd; St. Marys, OH 45885 Saturday, September 3rd: The AWSA-sanctioned tournament will begin at 8 AM. Any pulls not completed by dark will be completed Sunday morning. Tournament details and entry information will be available shortly on USA Waterski. Like us Facebook for updates (link below)!
The team will compete against the alumni, family, and friends. All skiers will be scored against their “average” so skiers of all skill levels can participate! Each team member will be matched with one or more alumni, and the winner of each match up will score one point for their team. The series is currently split 1-1 between the team and the alumni, so there’s plenty of bragging rights at stake... Sunday, September 4th: After the completion of the tournament, Sunday will be a more casual “fun day” dedicated to enjoying the day on the water! Activities may include slippery slalom, shortest jump, recreational skiing, and practice sets. The fun day is open to skiers of all ages, and the site is very family friendly (swing set and beach). Please RSVP to the fun day to Ben Brannan by August 28th. Please join us for one or both days of the weekend! Camping is available on-site, and hotel accommodations are available at the Quality Inn, St. Marys (419-394-2710). All proceeds benefit the 2016 Ohio State Waterski Team!
