Dane Mechler Wins World Championship

The U21 Water Ski World Championships were held this past weekend in Sesena Madrid Spain.  Dane Mechler of Extreme Watersports Center won the Gold in the Men's Slalom Event. Dane was the only skier in the finals to successfully complete the 39 off pass and posted a final score of 2 buoys at 41 off! 

Dane currently attends the University of Louisiana Lafayette where he is studying finance.  Dane is the current Collegiate Men's slalom National Champion and the US M1 National Champion.
